Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Compared to the previous editions, in this 2018 edition of The Fair RaceÕs Darkest Hour, I have eliminated my introductory remarks to each chapter and also a dozen essays. Only the texts that have caused a considerable impact on my worldview have remained. The first two pieces, especially HamiltonÕs, explain the baffling phenomenon of Aryan ethnosuicide. However, I must say that I not only abridged HamiltonÕs piece for this collection but other essays as well. In this compilation, there are two fundamental texts. The first one, a book review by J.A. Sexton of Tom GoodrichÕs Hellstorm: The Death of Nazi Germany, 1944-1947, informs us about a Dantesque, heart-breaking Holocaust committed by the Allies on the Germans even after the war was over. The second is a translation from Spanish of an online book authored by a Catalonian blogger who uses the penname Evropa Soberana: Rome contra Judea; Judea contra Rome.

Book excerpt: This collection of articles by various authors published in the blogsite 'The West's Darkest Hour' continues with the subject that the editor is most passionate about, already glimpsed in some of the articles in his previous book compilations: 'The Fair Race's Darkest Hour', 'Daybreak' and 'Day of Wrath'. A deeper inquiry into how the author came to think about the extermination of various animal species, including most of the specimens of the species to which he belongs, appears in his autobiographical books in Spanish that have not yet been translated into English: 'Hojas Susurrantes', '¿Me ayudarás?' and 'El Grial'.

Book excerpt: Together with 'The Fair Race's Darkest Hour', this book, 'Daybreak', represents a paradigm shift in white advocacy. White nationalists err in their diagnosis of blaming only Jewry, as if whites were not responsible for their own decline. The real diagnosis of the decline of the West has been Christian ethics. Other essays in this collection include an exposé of psychiatry: an Inquisition that persists to this day. It also includes a psychological foray into why white nationalists, who sympathise with Christianity, have been unable to see what is happening in a West whose new secular religion seems to have, as its ultimate goal, the extermination of their race.

Book excerpt: A catechism of racial thought, compiled from many of the world's foremost thinkers on race and western politics-and some unknown internet commentators-edited and commentated upon by César Tort. Acknowledgment is due to the following authors and commenters: F. Roger Devlin, Arthur Kemp, Hajo Liaucius, Kevin MacDonald, Larry Mars, Michael O'Meara, Jason Richwine, Manu Rodríguez, Sebastian E. Ronin, Franklin Ryckaert, J.A. Sexton, Evropa Soberana, Stormfront, Vance Stubbs, Tomislav Sunic, Jared Taylor and Joseph Walsh. From the preface: This book collects the crème de la crème of what I have read in both the printed press and online about the subject of White preservation. I chose the title of a "darkest hour" because what I treasure the most is Aryan female beauty; and unless Whites awaken from what the late Dominique Veneer called "Europe's dormition" the fairest creatures on Earth will face eventual extinction. The Aryans with honor that want to protect their women must acquire a Homeland of their own: a place where children can be born and raised in safety. A place where the numbers of the population that represents the crown of the evolution may be restored and the threat of extinction overcome.

Book excerpt: A beautifully illustrated look at the vogue for night landscapes amid the social, political, and technological changes of modern America The turn of the 20th century witnessed a surge in the creation and popularity of nocturnes and night landscapes in American art. In this original and thought-provoking book, Hélène Valance investigates why artists and viewers of the era were so captivated by the night. Nocturne examines works by artists such as James McNeill Whistler, Childe Hassam, Winslow Homer, Frederic Remington, Edward Steichen, and Henry Ossawa Tanner through the lens of the scientific developments and social issues that dominated the period. Valance argues that the success of the genre is connected to the resonance between the night and the many forces that affected the era, including technological advances that expanded the realm of the visible, such as electric lighting and photography; Jim Crow-era race relations; America's closing frontier and imperialism abroad; and growing anxiety about identity and social values amid rapid urbanization. This absorbing study features 150 illustrations encompassing paintings, photographs, prints, scientific illustration, advertising, and popular media to explore the predilection for night imagery as a sign of the times.

Covering over 2,650 miles with over 170,000 feet of climbing, the race course follows dirt roads, muddy tracks and snow covered mountains along the Continental Divide from Banff Canada to the Mexican border at Antelope Wells New Mexico. This is the Tour Divide, a unique race where the clock never stops and outside support is forbidden. It is the rider and their bike against the elements-and the internal demons. The Cordillera is the journal of the Tour Divide. 2016 saw the first ever sub-14 day ride. There was an unprecedented number of animal encounters. The weather was torrid. The Cordillera Volume 8 shares the stories of the successes, and challenges, of the 2016 Tour Divide. It shares the experiences of athletes plumbing the depths of endurance, in the transformational experience that is the Tour Divide.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most news media are "data rich but analysis poor" when it comes to election polling. Since election polls clearly have the power to influence campaigns and election post-mortems, it is important that "spin" not take precedence over significance in the reporting of poll results. In this volume, experts in the media and in academe challenge the conventional approaches that most news media take in their poll-based campaign coverage. The book reports new research findings on news coverage of recent presidential elections and provides a myriad of examples of how journalists and news media executives can improve their analysis of poll data, thereby better serving our political processes.

Book excerpt: Reflecting the latest data and theoretical literature available, RACE AND ETHNIC RELATIONS: AMERICAN AND GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES, 10e tackles diversity issues from both the American and global perspective, offering an in-depth exploration of today's globally diverse world. The text's expansive coverage of race and ethnic relations across the globe highlights major points of difference and similarity between the United States and a number of other societies, as well as includes a unique case study comparing four different countries. This unique comparative approach is vital with the increasing ethnic diversity in most contemporary societies as well as the prominence of ethnic conflicts in virtually all world regions. Current statistics, figures, maps, and citations provide up-to-the-minute insight. The Tenth Edition also includes an all-new chapter devoted to Arab Americans. In addition, end-of-chapter critical-thinking questions encourage readers to think in a sociological mode and examine current issues using concepts presented in the text.
